Business running league – BizRun
To make things a bit more interesting, and for you to escape to your training sessions from work more easily, we have prepared the BizRun business league for all legal persons. The rules are very simple, as is the process of applying. The races will follow a regular timetable.
Races
- 2nd Zagreb Spring Half Marathon – Zagreb 21 – Relay race half marathon (5km + 5.5km + 5km + 5.5km)
19 March, 2016
2nd Zagreb Spring Half Marathon
RegisterConditions
All legal subjects have the right to participate in the Business League, for example:
- sole proprietorships
- government agencies and ministries (institutions)
- educational institutions (schools, kindergartens, universities)
- civil associations
Every legal person has the right to apply up to 10 teams, which are applied as Company 1, Company 2 etc. The total number of batons per race is limited, and applications become valid only after the registration fee for each team is paid in full.
Every runner in the team runs one predetermined leg of the race. A runner starts their leg from a clearly defined place of exchange after the runner from the previous leg has arrived and tapped the runner for the next leg with his/her hand.
The names and timetables of runners may be changed until the very beginning of the race. In this case, the organiser is not liable for the accuracy of the information on the runner in question. The first team member on the application has the role of the captain and the entire team is associated with him/her, while the names of the other runners may change from race to race for an unlimited number of times.
The ranking will list the gross time (from the moment the beginning of the race is signalled to the arrival of the runner of the last leg to the finish line) of the team without specifying the results of the individual runners, unless this option is provided for in special cases. Ranking will be determined according to the actual time of arrival of every team to the finish line, and the net time (from the moment the runner of the first leg passes the starting line to the arrival of the runner of the last leg to the finish line) will be shown for every team.
Scoring of teams
Teams are divided into three categories – men’s, women’s and mixed. A mixed team can be formed in three ways – two male runners and two female ones (2+2), three male runners and one female one (3+1) or one male runner and three female ones (1+3).
Each category will have its own ranking for every race separately, on the basis of which scoring for the total ranking of the relay race will be determined. Points are awarded according to a simple system:
