Parking at Entrance no. 2 is a bit less than 2km away from the start/finish (SRC Mukinje) and the exact positions can be seen on the map crorun.pro/en/races/plitvice-lakes-marathon/. The parking for personal cars and buses is paid as per the regular pricelist. After the race, the buses will take you back to the parking at Entrance no. 2, which is right next to the Poljana restaurant, where marathon and half-marathon runners will be served lunch immediately after the race. - You will be able to pick up the tickets for the National Park at the cash register, which is also at the parking at Entrance no. 2, by presenting the starting number or an identification card. - Refreshment stations are evenly distributed on the marathon and half-marathon track, and there are a total of 4 refreshment stations from 25km to 35km. Use the help of volunteers who will offer you bottles and cups to avoid collisions. 5 km runners will have a refreshment station with water soon after the turn at the half of the race. You will all have additional refreshment after passing the finish line.
- Bear in mind that you are in a National Park under direct UNESCO protection and that we all wish that the nature and the environment remain clean and without garbage – when you dispose of cups, bottles and other things, discard them on the road so that the volunteers could pick them up. Do not throw anything into the forest or into streams, rivers and lakes by which you will run!
- Additional toilets and changing room (tents) are closed to the hall – we recomend to use them.
- After passing the finish line, please do not keep in the finish area and follow the instructions of the volunteers who will direct you towards the resting area and the playground, where you will find water, fruits, beer.
- Take the opportunity and visit the stands of our sponsors and partners, you will certainly find many interesting things.
- Do not forget – the track of the Plitvice Marathon is beautiful, but also very difficult, especially the part from the 9th to the 20thkm and the final 4 km, when you can expect demanding climbs. The half-marathon is no less demanding in terms of configuration.
- The track is followed by vertical kilometre markings. As the track had been altered on several occasions, there are also old markings on the ground. You should ignore them and follow the vertical symbols.
- We are at your disposal for all questions and information. Follow our website crorun.pro/en/, where results of the races will be published soon after the race.
We wish you all a beautiful and pleasant stay at the 31st Plitvice Marathon, as well as excellent runs and great fun!
